*Rapid Arterial oCclusion Evaluation* **Intended Use** RACE is a prehospital screen for large vessel occlusion (LVO) in adults with suspected acute stroke, validated for use by trained emergency medical services personnel. Assess aphasia in patients with right-sided weakness and agnosia in those with left-sided weakness. A score of 5 or more suggests LVO, but a lower score does not rule it out — follow the local stroke protocol regardless of the result. **Source** Pérez de la Ossa N, Carrera D, Gorchs M, et al.
